Yam is a lovely, fawn colored Boxer Mix girl, saved at the last minute from the Athens Co. shelter in Ohio. Yam loves people - men, women and children. She ignores the cat and is OK with dogs, but prefers lower energy dogs who won't get in her face. She is housetrained, crate trained and has an adorable personality. Poor Yam was probably hit by a car at some point which caused some damage to one of her rear legs. It doesn't pain her at all now, and the vet has advised AGAINST any surgery. She gets around just fine and lifts the leg when she runs. She is healthy, happy and ready for her forever home.
All of our dogs come fully up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and dewormed, as well as neutered, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.
