HP Software is looking for talented software engineers to join the HP Software Research and Development organization as a product developer. You will specialize in the development of new products. You should be very comfortable in highly interactive, large-scale HTLM5, JavaScript environments within frameworks like Angular JS, while also being competent in more established technologies like Java and C++. You will work across the entire software lifecycle of these products—from design, to development, and through release—using a variety of languages. We are an agile development team with close cooperation across development, quality assurance, documentation, and project management. If you like the idea of developing products that are industry leaders, you could be a good fit. Responsibilities: Delivers high quality software that is scalable, high-performing, and robust. Writes thorough tests for all software that is developed. Decomposes work into tasks that can be completed in days rather than weeks or months as a part of Scrum’s framework. Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities within HP Exstream R&D. Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with applications design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk. Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software applications leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities. Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
